Antistatic Masterbatch（AT）

Plastic products have high surface resistance, so friction easily accumulates static charge — causing dust attraction, electric shocks, breakdown of electronic components and filament winding in textile processing. Fundchem's antistatic masterbatch is offered in migratory and permanent systems, covering film, woven fabric, fiber and hollow-sheet polyolefin products. It maintains excellent antistatic performance even at low humidity (20%–60% RH at 23 °C) and conforms to DIN IEC 60093.

Three-Tier Formulation Systems

The mid-efficiency migratory grade (amine-based) takes effect 72 hours after production, reaches peak performance within one week, and stays effective for 1–1.5 years. The mid-to-long-term migratory grade is amine-free and non-corrosive, designed for sensitive applications such as keyboard films, electronic display films and chip packaging — effects appear after 48 hours, full migration completes within 5–7 days at low temperature, and performance lasts 3–5 years. The permanent grade does not rely on migration or blooming: a durable, stable antistatic effect is established right after extrusion and is further enhanced in humid environments. The product is a light-yellow translucent granule (high dosages may affect printing, adhesion, heat sealing and welding — our technical team can help evaluate the right dosage).

Industry-Specific Grades

The PP tape extrusion & coating grade stays effective for 1.5 years with surface resistivity of 10⁹–10¹² Ω, meets food-contact requirements of China, the EU, the US and Japan, and suits FIBC and bulk bag production. The PP fiber spinning grade withstands 300 °C processing and, per GB/T 31838.3-2019, brings fiber surface resistance down to 10⁹ Ω — replacing spin finishes and effectively solving static winding in textile processing. The hollow-sheet extrusion grade reaches 10⁹–10¹² Ω surface resistance and is widely used in antistatic transit boxes.
